National Day of Prayer 2006

Today is the National Day of Prayer. The NDP web site has a history of prayer in America, event listings, a prayer guide, and more.

Contrary to what its detractors say, the National Day of Prayer has nothing to do with establishing a state religion. Every citizen is free to pray to whomever or whatever they wish, or not at all.
