Air Force Chaplains Free to Pray in Jesus' Name or Not?

Today I heard the Air Force has issued revised interim guidelines for their chaplains. As expected, major media outlets don’t seem to find this all that newsworthy, but I did find an article on WorldNetDaily relating the story.

It appears that Focus on the Family and the ACLJ are both thrilled with the new guidelines. However, see no change in policy, including Navy chaplain Lt. Gordon Klingenschmitt (his website).

After reading the Air Force’s revised guidelines for myself, I really don’t know what to think. Still I have the uneasy feeling Lt. Klingenschmitt may be more correct in his assessment.

As for the entire matter, what I don’t understand is this: if a chaplain for a particular faith is conducting a service, doesn’t it seem reasonable to assume the service will include all the particulars of that faith?
