Christian Men's Groups
I have a question: why is it that almost all Christian men’s groups meet Friday at 6 AM? Check your congregation’s calendar. Am I right? OK, if not Friday, any weekday morning?
So, what’s my point? Well, Mr. Men’s Group Leader, if you are having trouble involving your congregation’s men, especially the fathers of young children, you might want to ask them what time works better for them. Depending on the responses, perhaps one or more new groups need to be formed.
I freely admit I’m no expert in running a men’s group. But I do know that when I was looking for a group in either my congregation or another, there was none to be found that fit my family’s schedule.
Maybe I’m just looking for something that what the average congregation’s men’s group has to offer?
